Joanna is an award winning broadcast journalist bringing 15 years of TV and radio experience to the team. Her work has been seen and heard on CNBC, BBC, PBS and NPR.
Placing “the knack of telling a good story” at the top of her most valuable skills list, Joanna can communicate complex issues in an engaging way. Thankfully so, since she specializes in business, finance, economics, technology, energy and climate change. Highlights of her work include: producing the 2011 CNBC flagship debate at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland; producing a 4 part documentary series on “The Future of Finance” for CNBC; and a personal favorite, orchestrating Europe’s first live TV link-up with the astronauts aboard the International Space Station.
Joanna is also a branded content specialist, having worked at CNBC in London developing, pitching and producing strategic TV and digital solutions to companies wishing to use branded content as a way to deepen viewer engagement.
Born and raised in Britain, Joanna has a degree in Hispanic Studies from Bristol University, UK. She has a global mindset and has lived, worked and travelled all over the world, reporting from Egypt, El Salvador, Malaysia, Russia and across Europe. She speaks fluent Spanish and to her great regret, ever more rudimentary French.
